Cost calculator

Your traffic

Choose a workload. We’ll estimate traffic and requests for you.

Estimated monthly costs

USD per month, before tax. Load balancing and unpriced extras are excluded.

What’s included?

Estimates cover cacheable content. Origin and optional services are added only when you enter their rates. Plans differ in features and coverage; check their terms before buying.

Advanced settings
Split traffic between regions

Percentages must total 100%. The same split applies to bytes and requests. CloudFront charges by serving edge location; this is an approximation. Shared free allowances are allocated proportionally.

Origin and optional services

Paid tiers start with this workload; estimates do not include other account traffic. Enter your own effective rates after origin allowances. Reads use request misses; egress uses byte fill. Functions assume one invocation per viewer request. Zero leaves an extra out of the estimate; it does not mean your origin is free.

Compare a quote you received

This is your quote, not a published provider price. Use an effective rate for the selected traffic mix; tiers, included usage and commitments need to be reflected in your inputs. Sharing a scenario includes your quote details.

Presets are starting assumptions, not measured traffic. Video assumes one rendition and segment GETs; playlists, retries and extra audio tracks add requests. Fill is a byte ratio, not a request cache-hit rate. GB = 1 billion bytes; Google bills GiB = 1,073,741,824 bytes; CloudFront estimates use binary GB as a billing assumption.

Overview

SwiftServe is Conversant’s CDN for web assets, downloads and video delivery. SwiftFederation combines delivery infrastructure with telecommunications partners, particularly in Asia.

  • Accelerate static files and dynamic requests.
  • Deliver live and on-demand video.
  • Monitor traffic through the SwiftFederation portal.

Conversant was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in Singapore. Its separate Live Media Services and security products extend delivery, with their own configuration and commercial scope.

Network

Conversant publishes worldwide country coverage and a more detailed Southeast Asian location list. Its federation uses network partners; the inventory describes both CDN PoPs and edge servers.

The map shows approximate city centers. Confirm which cache, compute and security features are available in the regions you choose. Province names and ambiguous locations remain unpinned. Confirm the locations included in your contract and test delivery with your audience.

Published CDN and edge locations

Approximate city centers, not facilities. The inventory includes CDN PoPs and edge servers; identical services are not guaranteed at every location. Ambiguous names and regional labels remain unpinned.

Delivery and access

The CDN brochure lists HTTP/3, multi-tier caching, token authentication and IP/geographic restrictions. Ask about the origin-shield option and purge completion time for the selected service.

Monitoring and protection

SwiftFederation provides real-time traffic analytics. Request-log management is advertised, but a real-time raw log feed and export latency are unconfirmed. DDoS protection is offered; WAF is an optional add-on.

Separate media services

Live Media Services advertises RTMP/SRT/MPEG-TS, AVC/HEVC transcoding, HLS/DASH playback, DVR and DRM. Confirm the included workflows and charges. Delivery support alone does not mean every CDN plan includes transcoding, packaging or DRM licensing.

Pricing

Obtain a product-specific delivery quote and use the calculator with its USD rates. Ask for the unit rates, minimum charges and contract term in your quote.

  • Separate audience transfer, requests and fixed commitment.
  • Quote media processing, storage and DRM where required.
  • Confirm WAF/security add-ons, support and regional coverage.

Conversant’s other product bundles do not provide a standalone SwiftServe delivery tariff.

Developer tools

SwiftFederation is the portal for combined traffic visibility. The linked VNETWORK guide documents SwiftServe CDN profiles within its Live Media Service workflow, using FTP credentials and an access URL. For direct CDN automation, ask Conversant for the account’s API reference.

For direct integrations, obtain the account’s supported configuration, purge and reporting API documentation. Ask which SDKs, Terraform resources and configuration-import tools your account supports. Check compatibility with the chosen player, encoder and content-security system.

When it fits

  • Web and media delivery evaluated against a Southeast Asian audience.
  • Buyers using a federated network with clear product-specific coverage.
  • Media workflows that can separately scope processing, storage and protection.

Before you choose

  • Check regional feature availability as well as coverage.
  • Ask for the raw-log format, export destination and timing you need.
  • Quote media processing and security separately where required.
  • Get written rates before using the calculator.
