What’s included?

Split traffic between regions

Percentages must total 100%. The same split applies to bytes and requests. CloudFront charges by serving edge location; this is an approximation. Shared free allowances are allocated proportionally.

Origin and optional services

Paid tiers start with this workload; estimates do not include other account traffic. Enter your own effective rates after origin allowances. Reads use request misses; egress uses byte fill. Functions assume one invocation per viewer request. Zero leaves an extra out of the estimate; it does not mean your origin is free.

Compare a quote you received

This is your quote, not a published provider price. Use an effective rate for the selected traffic mix; tiers, included usage and commitments need to be reflected in your inputs. Sharing a scenario includes your quote details.

Presets are starting assumptions, not measured traffic. Video assumes one rendition and segment GETs; playlists, retries and extra audio tracks add requests. Fill is a byte ratio, not a request cache-hit rate. GB = 1 billion bytes; Google bills GiB = 1,073,741,824 bytes; CloudFront estimates use binary GB as a billing assumption.

Orange Business offers two delivery choices: an Akamai-based service and Orange Trust CDN. The latter emphasizes European data localization and integration with Orange’s telecommunications network.

Orange specialists help select, implement and optimize the solution. This listing describes that portfolio; it does not assign every partner feature to Orange Trust CDN.

The company information refers to the Orange SA group, based in Issy-les-Moulineaux. A CDN product launch year is unconfirmed.

Network

Orange advertises more than two hundred global PoPs across its CDN solutions. Ask which partners and locations are included in the selected service.

Request the serving locations for the specific product and audience. Confirm data-localization boundaries and test the chosen service against your audience. Telecom presence alone does not measure CDN delivery performance.

Delivery and protection

Confirm the actual configuration

Before implementation, confirm cache behavior, invalidation timing, supported protocols, access controls, raw-log delivery and automation. Ask for the APIs, edge code and log delivery supported by the service you choose. Native video ingest and packaging are also unconfirmed.

Confirm which control plane and documentation apply to the selected service. The former generic documentation link redirects to the homepage, rather than a usable CDN reference.

Ask for the relevant customer manuals, API permissions, configuration workflow and export interfaces during onboarding. Use Akamai documentation for that delivery service and request Orange Trust CDN documentation for the other option. Ask about the automation and migration tooling available for your selected service.
