Overview
imgix processes and delivers media from connected sources. URL parameters and libraries let developers create appropriately sized images without maintaining every variant themselves.
Compare the working media set, delivery traffic and transformation features together when choosing a bundle.

Pricing
Current pricing uses credit bundles. Starter includes 100 credits/month at a monthly rate of $0.25 per credit; annual billing has a lower rate.
- Media cache and metadata: 2 credits per GB per month.
- Delivery: 1 credit per GB.
- Transformations: consumption varies by feature.
The advertised maximum storage or bandwidth for a bundle is not a promise that both maxima can be used together without consuming more credits.
Developer tools
When it fits
- Applications with existing media storage and many responsive variants.
- Developers wanting transformation URLs and framework libraries.
Before you choose
- Working-cache storage consumes credits alongside delivery.
- Costly transformation features can change the bundle requirement.
